Personal Information:

Warren Wood Logee was born about 11 Jan 1859 at Providence, Rhode Island1;2. He was the son of Norris and Eliza (Jillson) Logee. When he was young his parents family moved to New York. He stayed in that city until he was about 16 years old. He was educated in New York public schools and spent one year in the College of New York City. In 1874 his grandmother left him $500 as part of her estate3. In 1875 he moved to Harrisville. He soon became a bookkeeper for Tinkham & Farwell in that town. In Feb 1880 became station agent at the Harrisville station until 18824;5. At that time he became a book keeper for William A. Inman in Graniteville but soon became a freight agent for the Providence & Springfield railroad in Providence, which he continued for about four years. In 1889 he purchased the Pascoag Pharmacy of Byron E. Dewey. He owned that business until 1902 when he sold out to L.W. Edwards. The then became a fire insurance agent. At the time of his death he was proprietor of one of the largest insurance agencies outside the large cities. In September 1898 he was appointed postmaster at Pascoag. This position he held until about Feb 19156;7.

Warren Logee was probably married two times. He married first Irene Isabel Inman, daughter of Oliver and Matilda Inman, on 24 Mar 1881 at Burrillville8. She died 24 Apr 1911. He then married Edith Bresette of Burrillville on 28 Oct 1914. There were no children born to either of these couples.

Warren was also active in various organizations. He was a member of the Granite lodge no. 26, A.F. &A.M., Scituate Royal Arch chapter, Woonsocket commandery, K.T., and was a 32nd degree member of the Providence Scottish Rite consistory. He was also a member of Palestine temple of the Mystic Shrine.

Warren Logee died about 20 Oct 1916. He was buried in the family plot in Pascoag Cemetery as was his first wife Irene. His second wife Edith followed in death in 1970 and was also buried in the family plot.
