Jessie Vought was born 29 Jul 1877 in New York1. She was the daughter of Edward and Ella (Logee) Vought. She married John Herbert Norris 29 Jul 1895. He was born about Jul 1878 in New York. They had two daughters. The birth locations for their daughters could be New Jersey or New York2;3. When her grandmother, Eliza Logee, died in May of 1897, her obituary stated she died at the home of her daughter in Westfield, New Jersey. This would coincide with the period of both of these children's births. By 1910 Jessie was living with her mother and daughters in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was not listed as a widow. Her occupation was dressmaker.
