Edgar L. Logee was born 16 Jul 1849 in New Bedford, Bristol Co., Mass. He was a twin son of Leprelet and Ann (Tingley) Logee2. On 22 Sep 1869 he married Mary Thurber in Pawtucket, Rhode Island3. Mary was born about 1853. She was the daughter of German P. and Mary R. Thurber.
In 1875 Edgar's family was residing in Lincoln, Providence County, R.I.4 Edgar and Mary had one daughter, Belle Logee. She was born about 1872. Edgar may have been divorced from Mary after 18755.
On 27 Dec 1886 Edgar married Susie (Whitton) Pease Simmons in the City of Providence. Susie was born about 1853, the daughter of William and Hannah G. Whitton. The marriage record indicated that she had been widowed twice and that Edgar had been divorced twice.
Edgar and Susie continued to reside in the City of Providence. In 1890 they resided at 53 Clifford6. Edgar made his living manufacturing jewelry. On 5 Apr 1908 Edgar died in the City of Providence7. He was buried in Swan Point Cemetery in that city. Susie followed in death on 31 Oct 19128.
