Personal Information:
Edmund Tappan Logee was born 16 Jul 1849 in New Bedford, Bristol Co., Mass.3 He was a twin son of Leprelet and Ann (Tingley) Logee. His brother was Edgar L. Logee. By 1870 he had moved out of his father's home and was residing in Smithfield, R.I.4
On 16 Jul 1872 Edmund was married to Harriet Elizabeth Baxter by James H. Lyon, Pastor of the Cong Church5. At the time of their marriage he resided in Central Falls and she in Pawtucket, R.I. Harriet was born about 1853 in Rhode Island, the daughter of Alexander and Sarah Baxter. Edmund and Harriet soon were residing in Lincoln, Providence County, R.I.6
By 1880 they had moved to Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts7. Edmund was employed as a Station Agent. He remained in that profession into the 1890s, when the family had returned to Pawtucket8/9.
