Personal Information:

Simon Logee was born about Jun 1850, probably in Milford, Worcester Co., Mass.1 He was the son of Caleb Jr. and Eliza (Albee/Keith) Logee. On 13 May 1872 he was married to Ophelia Bennett by Charles Nason, Clergyman, in Woonsocket, Providence Co., R.I.2 Ophelia was born about 1852, the daughter of Henry and Henrietta Bennett. They were residing in Oakland, Rhode Island in 18753.

In the 1880 Census Simon was residing with Mary A. "Logee" and her children, Ida and Frank Waterman4. Simon Logee married Mary Anne (Langdon) Waterman on 12 Jul 1884 in Rhode Island (possibly Johnston)5. Mary Anne was born about 20 Jun 1839 in Lakewood, the daughter of Wm H. and Mary R. Langdon. She died on 14 May 1908 in Warwick, R.I. and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Cranston, R.I.6

Simon then married Lucy Ella (Blake) Greene on 12 Aug 1911 in the City of Providence7. She was born on 2 Feb 1864 and was the daughter of Nathan and Sarah R. (Johnson) Blake. In 1920 Simon and Lucy were residing in the City of Providence8. Simon's occupation was listed in that census as Machinist. Lucy died on 18 Mar 1932 in the City of Providence9. Her age was given as 67y 11m 16d. She was also listed as a widow which indicated Simon had preceded her in death. She was buried in Oakland Cemetery.
