Stephen Logee was born abt. 15 Oct 1848 in Rhode Island, the son of Caleb Jr. and Eliza Logee1. He married Mary A. Bird before 18732. Mary Bird was born abt. Aug 1853 in Massachusetts3. She was the daughter of Patrick Bird who was born in Ireland4. Mary was Catholic and it appears that her children were raised in that faith.

By 1880 Stephen Logee's family was residing in Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts5. Stephen was a machinist by trade. By 1900 their two oldest sons had moved away from home. Edward had moved to Newport, R.I. and William to the City of Providence, Providence County, R.I.6

Stephen and Mary remained in Milford the rest of their lives7. Stephen died 20 Jul 1920 and Mary died on 9 Apr 1933. The cause of death for both was Arterio Sclerosis. They were buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Milford.
