Ellen Logee was born 26 Dec 1846 in Smithfield, Providence Co., R.I.1 She was the daughter of Caleb Jr. and Eliza (Albee/Keith) Logee. Ellen Melisse Logee married Foster Mowry2. Two marriage records were entered for this couple. The first was for Foster U. Mowry and Nellie Melisse Logee on 2 Jun 1872 in Woonsocket, R.I. The second was for Ulysses Foster Mowry and Ellen on 24 Jun 1872 in North Smithfield.

In 1880 the family was residing in North Smithfield, R.I. and their record listed their son and daughter3. Prior to 1908 the couple had moved to 15 Almont Ct, Malden, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. On 11 Apr 1908 Foster died in that town of Diabetes4. His occupation was listed on his death record as Housepainter. Ellen survived until 19 Aug 1921 when she died of Lung Cancer in Quincy, Norfolk Co., Mass. Her son Fred C. Mowry was provided the information for her death record. Both Foster and Ellen Mowry were buried in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield, Providence Co., R.I.5/6
