Personal Information:

Elizabeth Logee was born 3 Oct 18371. She was the daughter of Duty Logee and Elizabeth Robbins. Elizabeth married John Caswell about 18562. However, the marriage record has not yet been located. John W. Caswell was born 26 Apr 1828, probably in Douglas3. He was the son of John Caswell and Eunice Whiting. John was a farmer by trade.

John and Elizabeth had at least six children, and probably more who died as infants4;5. In 1888, Elizabeth and her children received various bequests from her brother through his will and estate6. They continued to spend their married lives together in Douglas, Massachusetts. On 12 May 1899, John Caswell died at age 71 years and 15 days. His cause of death was Pneumonia.  He was buried in South Street Cemetery in Douglas.

Following his death, Elizabeth first lived with her son, Duty E. Logee in Burrillville, Rhode Island7. By 1910 she was residing in the home of her daughter, Ellener Taft wife of Hiram Taft, in Northbridge, Massachusetts8. Elizabeth died 14 Apr 1919 and was buried with her husband.
