Personal Information:

Minerva Luvan Logee was born 14 Nov 1843 in Guernsey County, Ohio6. She was the daughter of Daniel Logee Jr. and Minerva Emerson.

On 26 Oct 1865 she married Cyrus Frame in Guernsey County7. He was born 29 Oct 1824 in Ohio and was the son of William and Susannah Frame8;9. Cyrus died 20 Jan 1897.

When Minerva's daughter Clara was very young she was severely injured and was unable to walk for the rest of her life. Minerva took care of her daughter until her own death.  Minerva died on 16 Jan 1938 near Salesville, Ohio10. According to the death certificate, Minerva died of influenza. However, this was incorrect. From personal memory of a family member, Minerva was cooking oatmeal at the stove and said, "Oh, I have such a pain and its going to my heart." Minerva died immediately after making that statement.11

2. (Clara Lavina Frame story) Reminicences of Marge Gibson -- Clara Lavinia Frame never married. She was confined to a wheel chair all her life from the age of two onward. My mother always told me that Grandma Frame had always said that Vinnie was fine, running everywhere until she fell of the back porch and hurt her leg. Another contemporary of my mother, Eleanor Beymer, said she heard she fell off a horse. After the accident Vinnie's father (Cyrus Frame) would not allow her to be treated because he knew so many who died when they went to the hospital. Her mother took care of her until her own death at age 95.  -- Vinnie died 12years after her mother passed away. My aunt told me that when they came to take her to a nursing home she asked them to let her sit up so she could see the countryside, for she very seldom ever got beyond the confines of her home. Aunt Vinnie was a very handsome, intelligent looking woman

(Vinnie Johnson birthday) Vinnie Johnson birthday [She was d/o Columbia Logee Williams], Jeffersonian newspaper article celebrating 102nd birthday. - Mentioned that she married her husband in 1890 and that he was a railroader. Her husband passed away in Feb 1940. Her hobbies included hooking rugs and quilting. At time of article she was residing in Vel-Haven Nursing Home, Old Washington. Stated that she had made her home for many years with sister, Alpha Gable. Her cousin, Ora Woodward was mentioned as residing in Bell's Nursing Home, Kimbolton and had celebrated her 102nd birthday last April.
