Horace M. Logee was born 10 Sep 1834 in Douglas, Worcester County, Massachusetts1. He was the son of Joseph and Prudence (Paine) Logee.
In 1850 and 1851 he may have been residing in Worcester City, Mass., working as a painter or printer2;3. By 1870 he was residing in Crawford County, Penn. with his wife and two children4. His occupation was listed as physician. According to one researcher, Lottie was Charlotte A. Hamilton who was born 18 Dec 18425. This researcher further indicated that they Horace and Charlotte were married on 7 Nov 1866 in Edinboro, Penn. However, this information has not been corroborated.
In 1880 Horace, Lottie and son, Benjamin F. Logee were residing in Oxford, Butler Co., Ohio. Based on the 1870 and 1880 census records, it appears that Frank R. and Benjamin F. Logee were the same person6.
Horace Logee died prior to 1910. The 1910 Census listed Lotta H. Logee, widow7. She was residing in Pine twp., Crawford Co., Penn. with her widowed sister, Mary E. Dakun.
