Personal Information:

Phebe Logee was born 10 Nov 1811 in Douglas, Worcester Co., Massachusetts1. She was the daughter of Daniel Logee and Mary Holbrook. On 13 Dec 1829 or 1830 she married Lovell Pulsifer Southwick2.

Lovell P. Southwick was born 7 Dec 18063. He was the son of Moses Southwick and Sarah Pulsifer. Lovell was a millwright and carpenter and during his career had built several fine homes in the Uxbridge, Massachusetts area.

Lovell and Phebe had six children. Of these, three grew to adulthood. In 1850 Lovell's family was residing in Douglas4. In the next year on 6 Aug 1851 Phebe (Logee) Southwick died.

Lovell married 2nd Lucinda Thayer on 4 Apr 1853 or 18545. Lucinda was born 15 Jul 1827. this couple had six children. On one of their children may have survived until adulthood. In 1870 Lovell, Lucinda and their son, Wellington, were residing in Douglas6. Lovell and Lucinda were still in Douglas in 18807. In that year Lovell's son from his 1st marriage, George Southwick, was also residing in Douglas8. Lovell's son Ira was residing in Uxbridge9 and his daughter, Mary (Southwick) Williams was in Holden, Worcester County10. His son, Wellington, by his wife, Lucinda, was not found in the 1880 Census.

Death dates for Lovell and Lucinda have not yet been found.
