Personal Information:

Columbia Logee was born 2 Oct 1841, probably in Guernsey County, Ohio2. She was the daughter of Daniel Logee Jr. and Minerva Emerson.

On 11 May 1864 she married Smith Williams3. He was born about May 1939 in Ohio4;5. The family first made their home in Wills twp., Guernsey County. In 1900 Smith Williams listed his occupation as farmer. By 1910 their family was residing in Salesville Village in Guernsey County6. Smith Williams later moved to Cambridge where he died7. Columbia followed him in death on 5 Jan 1926.

1. (Vinnie Johnson birthday) Vinnie Johnson birthday, Jeffersonian newpaper article celebrating 102nd birthday. - Mentioned that she married her husband in 1890 and that he was a railroader. Her husband passed away in Feb 1940. Her hobbies included hooking rugs and quilting. At time of article she was residing in Vel-Haven Nursing Home, Old Washington. Stated that she had made her home for many years with sister, Alpha Gable. Her cousin, Ora Woodward was mentioned as residing in Bell's Nursing Home, Kimbolton and had celebrated her 102nd birthday last April.

7. (Smith Williams obit) Smith Williams obituary [no date or name of newspaper on copy]- Per obituary died in Guernsey County in Cambridge. Had resided for many years near Salesville. Survivors included wife, and children: C.D. Williams, Mrs. B.H. Runyan, and Mrs. L.A. Gable, all of Cambridge, Mrs. Victoria Dent of Salesville, and Mrs. Vinnie Johnson of Quaker City.
