Addison Williams was born about 1833 in Massachusetts3. Based on his family's 1860 census record, he had a prior marriage to a Eunice (unknown). Eunice was born about 1836. He also had at least two children by this marriage.

By 1870, Addison Williams had married Mary Southwick and their family was residing in Worcester, Mass.4. His occupation was listed as shoe bottomer. Mary's occupation was listed as milliner. No children were listed in their household. By 1880 Addison and Mary were residing in Holden, Worcester County5. Lovell's son, Walter Williams, by his 1st marriage was living in their home.
