Mary Elizabeth Logee was born about 1835 probably at Warwick, Rhode Island1. She was the daughter of Olney and Mary S. (Martin) Logee. She married Giddings Hyde Lester on 20 Sep 1865 at Providence. Giddings was the born about 1825, probably Norwich, Connecticut,  and was the son of Charles F. and Mary Lester. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to New London in Norwich County, Connecticut2;3. They appear to have only one child, Charles F., by this marriage. They also seem to have spent their lives in Norwich County. Giddings Lester died between 1880 and 18874.
