Bertha E. Logee was born 3 Feb 1895 probably in Thompson, Connecticut4. She was the daughter of Linus A. Logee and Alice M. Sheldon5. On 31 Jul 1917 she married Edward N. Rawson in Thompson, Connecticut6. Edward was born 27 May 1894 and was the son of N. Dani Rawson and Mabel A. Arnold.

At the time of their marriage Edward listed his occupation as Engineer. In the 1920 census his occupation was listed as Weave Room, Cotton Mill7. This couple had four children. Edward Rawson died 8 Oct 1977 and was buried in Munyan Cemetery in Putnam, Conn. Bertha followed in death on 28 Feb 1986. In her obituary, all four of her children were listed as survivors. Her daughter Rachel was listed as Rachel Tremblay of Maron, Texas. In addition it stated she had 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Like other members of her family, her obituary further indicated that she and her husband had operated a lumber business in Thompson until their retirement. Smith and Walker Funeral home of Putnam handled the funeral arrangements.
