Alvina Logee was born 8 Apr 1811 in Burrillville, Rhode Island3. She was the daughter of Elisha and Jerusha (Kimball) Logee. Alvina Logee married Henry Chilson probably before 18324.
In 1830 Henry Chilson's family was residing in Glocester, Rhode Island5. The census record for that year listed three children, one son and two daughters, in the Henry Chilson household. Since Alvina was only 19 years old in 1830, Henry probably had a prior wife who was the mother of at least some of those unidentified children.
Henry and Alvina removed to Uxbridge prior to 18406. On 17 Feb 1844 Alvina Chilson died in Uxbridge7. In 1850 Alvina's daughter, Harriet was residing in Burrillville with her grandmother, Jerusha (Kimball) Logee Smith8. Alvina's daughter, Elizabeth, was residing with her aunt Ruth (Logee) Daggett in Glocester9.
No further information was found regarding Henry Chilson and daughters Elizabeth, Harriet and Helen.
