Alice Sophia Logee was born about Feb. 1851 in Burrillville, Rhode Island1. She was the daughter of George and Celia (Mathewson) Logee. When her father died in 1852, she remained with her mother. In 1860 she and her mother, Celia, were residing in the household of Albert Sayles in Burrillville.2
On 19 Nov 1874 Alice Logee was married to Alphonso Dexter Angell in Burrillville by William Fitz, clergyman3. He was born in 1850 in New Hampshire (probably Dover)4. Alphonso was the son of Edmund and Susan Angell. Alphonso's marriage to Alice Logee was his second marriage. His first marriage was to Orra (Unknown)5. Orra was born in 1849 and died 31 Oct 1871.
Alphonso and Alice (Logee) Angell resided in Scituate, Providence County, Rhode Island. He made his living as a Cabinet Maker. On 22 Oct 1875 Alice died of Typhoid Fever in Scituate6. No children appear to have been born to Alphonso and Alice. Alphonso died on 27 Sep 1881. The cause of his death was listed as Phthies. He was buried beside his two wives in Glenford Cemetery.7
