William Epperson was born 11 Jan 1850, the son of Calvin and Sarah (Wagner) Epperson1.  According to his death record, his father was born in Kentucky and his mother was born in Ohio. William was a farmer and lived his life in Cain twp, Fountain County, Indiana.

On 17 dec 1874 he married Sabina Campbell in Fountain Co.2 Sabina was born 30 Apr 1855 at her father's residence in Fountain Co.3 Until her husband's death she lived on a farm very close to where she was born. On 14 Sep 1917 William Epperson died. Afterward Sabina moved to Hillsboro, Fountain Co., where she spent her remaining years. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. On 1 Aug 1930, Sabina died at her home. William and Sabina were buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fountain Co.

1. Wallace Epperson b. May 18765; d. 1961; On 25 Feb 1903 he was married to Gertrude Blue by Harvey Waite6. She was the daughter of William C. and Anna (Cronk) Blue. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. She died abt. 29 Apr 1973; They had 2 children: Carl Epperson b. 1910; d. 1995; buried Waynetown Masonic Cemetery; Harry Epperson b. 23 May 1905; d. 14 Sep 1968 Danville, Illinois7; m. Mary Hanes. She b. 14 Jun 1910 Covington, Indiana; d. abt. 17 Aug 1981 Danville, Ill.8
2. Florence Epperson b. abt 1878 Ind.; d. 1973; buried Rose Hill Cemetery, Fountain Co.; m. 3 Nov 1895 Fountain Co., to Daniel W. Carpenter9. They had a son, Donald, b. 10 OCt 1908; d. 5 Jun 1976; They also had a child that died as an infant.
3. Edwin S. Epperson b. 17 Nov 1880; m. Leonara Tozer 22 Jan 1919 Fountain Co.10. She b. 5 Aug 1884 Danville, Ill, the daughter of Mark and Saphronia (Covey) Tozer. Her father had been a Stock Dealer and was b. New Hampshire; Her mother also b. New Hampshire; both of her parents were deceased at the time of her marriage.
4. Mary Epperson b. Jun 1891; She was married at one time to Joseph Carnes, a musician. She was married to Edwin Castor at the time of her mother's death. She may have been married additional times.
